Biography
Meet Katy
Hi, I’m Katy a personal trainer passionate about empowering others to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. I’ve always loved being active, taking part in sports like badminton, judo, and athletics. These days, I row competitively in Head of the River Races and Regattas.
Alongside my work as a personal trainer, Iβm currently training to become a Sport and Exercise Psychologist, following a 25-year career as an NHS nurse. Iβm studying with the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES) and will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) upon completion. I also hold a CIMSPA Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification and am an Advanced Athletic Skills Model Instruction.
My approach combines my experience in nursing, psychology, and fitness to create a personalised, supportive environment for every client. Iβm particularly passionate about helping people rebuild confidence and strengthβespecially during or after injury, surgery, or major life changes.
I work with a wide range of clients, including:
- Those who experience gym anxiety
- Those returning from injury or surgery
- Individuals going through the menopause
- Those looking for a gender affirming personal trainer
